Abstract
Article on reduction of rural migration through strengthening the rural social structure in the USSR - examines current trends and causes of rural out-migration, emphasizing importance of social service disparities between urban areas and rural areas, and suggests that social development and an integrated approach to industrialization of the agricultural sector (Agro-Industrial Complex) would help stabilize the migration process.
