Abstract
Within the framework of the “CLEAR Supply Chains” project and with co-financing of the European Union, the ILO conducted an assessment on the current and emerging skills mismatch in Uganda’s coffee value chain. This factsheet summarizes the findings of the assessment and provides recommendations for national and sectoral ILO constituents and other stakeholders to improve skills development for youth and adults that focus on skills required for added value creation and diversification of Uganda’s coffee value chain with the ultimate objective of creating more decent employment.
