Abstract
This brief highlights promising practices for preventing and addressing violence and harassment in the informal economy and through formalization. Drawing on country experiences, it presents practical approaches to strengthening prevention and protection, enforcement and remedies, awareness-raising, social dialogue and representation, while integrating violence and harassment considerations into pathways towards formality.
