Abstract
This document describes in detail the processes and practices employed, the immediate results of the interventions, and the experiences and learning of the ILO project team and its local partners in the implementation of the two DFAT-funded projects, hereinafter referred to as the DFAT-ILO projects or the projects. It is one of two knowledge products produced by the projects intended to serve as a resource and guide for government and non-government organizations (NGOs) in developing and implementing workable and culturally-sensitive disaster response, local resource-based employment generation and livelihood recovery interventions in post-calamity situations.
