Abstract
The report looks at how the country's economy, labour market, poverty, and inequality are impacted by the climate transition in order to support the country's economic development while addressing the issues of climate change and the global shift to low-carbon economies. It recognizes important industries like renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, ecotourism, climate-resilient infrastructure, and climate financing and draws attention to both the risks and the prospects for resilience, green jobs, and economic diversification. A just transition that encourages decent work, lowers poverty, and fosters sustainable growth is also outlined in the paper along with potential policy measures.
