Abstract
This technical note is issued within the context of the Lao Government’s ongoing revision of the Social Security Law (amended version 2018), scheduled for 2024–25. The purpose of this note is to offer general observations and recommendations concerning the current Social Security Law (SSL), with the aim of guiding the formulation of the new draft Law on Social Security.
