Abstract
This publication presents the evidence-based process used to identify the three priority sectors for the Manzuma project, funded by the Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP III) in Jordan. This sector selection study presents the evidence-based process used to identify the three priority sectors that will guide the project's market systems interventions in Jordan. Following a comprehensive assessment of sixteen sectors, the study prioritises food processing, restaurants and food services, and chemicals based on their potential for SME growth, inclusive employment, and systemic change. The report provides the strategic foundation for subsequent Market Systems Analyses and the design of market-led interventions that promote decent work and sustainable livelihoods for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians.
