Abstract
Better Work Haiti has published its fourth synthesis report under the HOPE II legislation.This public report includes both consolidated industry compliance data as well as detailed plant-level analysis of compliance requirements, remediation priorities identified by the mills, and concrete efforts to address compliance needs. The Better Work Haiti Advisory Services strongly emphasized OSH issues. In this area, Better Work Haiti recognizes over the past six months the efforts and involvement of owners and executives in activities to improve the situation. Significant compliance efforts were observed on Chemicals and Hazardous Substances and Emergency Preparedness.
