Abstract
This assessment focuses on the LuangwaâMwami section of the corridor, that was implemented under the national Great EastRoad Rehabilitation Project. Building on an earlier STRENGTHEN2 assessment, also produced incollaboration with AfDB, that used nighttime lights (NTL), this study leverages Labour Force Survey (LFS) data to analyse employment, sectoral shifts, wages and working hours, and uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to assess changes in access to social infrastructure.
