Abstract

Examines different education and skills training interventions that better the conditions of child workers or children at risk, e.g. through education policy reform, life skills education, gender education, and links to social protection programmes. Summarizes experiences made in the areas of conditional cash transfer to poor families, improved education for girls, formal and non-formal education programmes, child participation in decisions affecting their future, etc.
