Abstract
Better Work has been conducting assessments of working conditions in Indonesia’s export-oriented garment factories since 2011.The current report draws on findings of assessments conducted between August 2015 and December 2016 by Better Work Indonesia in 153 factories. Just over half (80) of the 153 factories in the sample were newly registered to the programme, or have been with the programme for less than two years (cycle one or cycle two).
