The Africa Tripartite Regional Consultation was convened to channel Africa’s priorities and concrete proposals into the Sixth Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour (GCLC), to be hosted by Morocco in 2026. Over the course of three weeks and six online sessions, the consultation consolidated a regional voice across governments, employers’ and workers’ organizations, with the participation of UN agencies, NGOs, civil society organizations and other social actors as observers.
