Abstract
The construction sector in Southern Africa is a cornerstone of the region's socio-economic development, playing an essential role in fostering growth and creating employment opportunities. This sector is interlinked with various other industries, contributing significantly to infrastructure development. In Mozambique, the sector has one of the strongest growth outlooks across Sub-Saharan Africa and has become a key driver of the country’s economic development, supported by substantial investment pledges aimed at improving infrastructure to support the country’s rapidly developing oil, gas and mining sectors.
