Abstract
This comprehensive training manual aims to enhance the capacity of law enforcement agencies in Balochistan, Pakistan, regarding the Balochistan Forced Labour and Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 2021 and Pakistan’s Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act, 2018. It seeks to equip labour inspectors, mines inspectors, the police, and other relevant stakeholders with the knowledge skills, and tools necessary to effectively combat forced labour, bonded labour and human trafficking in the province. Its goal is to promote a collaborative approach to enforcing legislation on forced and bonded labour, and human trafficking, across Balochistan. This manual was developed as part of the International Labour Organization’s project, "From Protocol to Practice: A Bridge to Global Action on Forced Labour" (Bridge project), funded by the United States Department of Labor.
