Abstract
Explains the essence of tripartism, notably the role of the International Organisation of Employers, of governmental labour inspectors, and of teachers and teachers' unions. Includes an overview on the role of ILO, esp. activities carried out by the Bureau of Workers' Activities (ACTRAV), the Bureau of Employers' Activities (ACT/EMP), and the International Programme on Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC).
