Abstract

occupational health occupational safety international labour standards role of ILO young workers
Workers of all ages have the right to a safe and healthy work environment. As active contributors of labour markets worldwide, young workers between the ages of 15 and 24 typically experience higher rates of work-related injuries than adult workers. Raising awareness of and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) standards for young workers can help reduce injuries and improve the working environment. It contains additional information related to OSH for young workers.
