Abstract
Funded through the INDUS Child Labour Project, involving the Government, Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Human Resource Development of India and the Department of Labour of the US. Intended for government officials, recalls facts of child labour and describes the roles of the District Collector, who's authority is over the Police and Labour Departments. Gives practical examples of how to achieve coordination and convergence amongst various government department's programmes and between government agencies and civil society members.
