Abstract
Article on simulations using the UNITAD econometric model to demonstrate relationships between disarmament and development policy and the long term effects on employment - describes results for overall economic growth and production structure; simulates development impacts of hypothetical development aid at two levels, ie. Equivalent to 0.7 per cent of donor country GNP or one-third of donor's armament expenditure; estimates employment creation, income distribution and consumption effects in developing countries.
