Article relating Catholic Church conceptions of mans place in society and themes of the encyclical populorum progressio to the objectives and role of ILO in the promotion of material well-being and spiritual development of the workers, with particular reference to developing countries - covers relevant aspects of rural development, industrialization, population policy (incl. Birth control) and social policy.
