Cooperatives in the developing countries - cooperatives are seen as an aid to attenuate problems of monopolystic market structures. Spirit of self-help and a government policy of promotion which would include vocational training of managers are essential. Some problems of technical cooperation in this field are discussed. The international cooperative movement has an influence on trade.
