Abstract
Article on comparison of migration policies aimed at halting or reversing the flow of rural migration in Asia - examines controls on mobility, land settlement schemes, growth Pole, dispersed urbanization strategies and rural development programmes, and find that these government policy instruments have had little impact and need to be linked to other policies.
