Abstract
Article making a comparison of trends in occupational health and occupational safety legislation - discusses role of the state, workers participation in policy-making and control, organization of occupational health services, the methods and objectives of such legislation in comparison to pertinent ILO Conventions, and concludes that it has become necessary to revise the existing definition of health.
