Abstract
Comparison of the influence of social security schemes on income distribution in Austria, France, Germany, Federal Republic and the UK - comprises (1) an indication of data compil, and methodology used, (2) analysis of each short term benefit within the selected country, and (3) comparison of the redistributive effect of all short-term benefits taken together, and covers family benefits, health insurance, disability benefits, unemployment benefit, etc.
