Abstract
Reviews the development of social dialogue in five Caribbean countries during the 1990s. Examines the practice of industrial relations, the challenges brought about by globalization and trade liberalization and the responses of trade unions, employers and governments. Looks at the promotion of social dialogue at the regional level.
