Abstract
Examines the reform of social dialogue in Hungary during the late 1990s. Focuses on the replacement of the Interest Reconciliation Council by new forums established for consultation on economic issues and consultation and negotiation on labour issues. Looks at the modification of the Labour Code and the transposition of Community labour law.
