Abstract
Based on the ILO's People's Security Surveys (PSSs) in seven countries. Investigates people's responses to different proposals about the distribution of income and the acceptability of different forms of discrimination. Examines whether people of lower socio-economic status favour distributional rules that would mitigate their position, including support for positive discrimination in labour markets.
