Abstract
Population trends of the post-war period and trends of labour force and occupational structure in Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, the German Democratic Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, USSR, Yugoslavia - high percentage of woman workers. Comparison of urban areas and rural areas full employment is given, divided into agricultural sector, industrial sector and service sector.
