Abstract
Article on population questions, with particular reference to the relationship between population growth and economic and social development, and to population policy implications - examines the role of population growth in the typical economic planning approach of developing countries, the policy relevance of linkages between labour supply, migration and fertility and the recent attempts to incorporate population variables into large-scale economic models.
