Abstract
Article on the labour force status of married women in South East Asia, with particular reference to the relationship between fertility and labour force participation for the urban and rural areas woman worker - reveals that in the urban areas the number of children born to women in the labour force was lower than that born to non-working women, whereas among rural workers the reverse was true.
