Article commenting on labour legislation and practices concerning paid educational leave in the USSR - discusses provisions respecting certain categories of workers (incl. Managerial and technicians, teachers, medical personnel, scientists, etc.), and certain types of education and training (incl. Correspondence courses, further training, etc.), and covers financing.
