Explores the interface between the principle of collective bargaining and the elimination of discrimination in employment. Shows how the right to collective bargaining eludes most workers and argues that unequal access to collective representation can result in one principle effectively preventing recognition of the other. Examines state labour regulatory initiatives and the promotion of equality through collective bargaining.
