Abstract
Review by representatives of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU) and the World Confederation of Labour (WCL) on the outcome of the WTO 6th Ministerial Conference in Hong Kong, December 2005. Highlights how unions have been facing up to the World Trade Organization and the unique role of Global Union Federations (GUF) in strengthening unions in different countries and working towards global solidarity.
