Abstract
Article commenting on the role of France, the role of UK and the influence of international labour standards on existing labour legislation in Cameroon - examines historical aspects, analyses the effect ILO conventions have had on the coordination of the country's labour legislation since re-unification, and describes how far those standards are fully applied in respect of freedom of association, forced labour, employment, etc.
