Abstract
Article on standard of living surveys in Sweden - discusses the definition of standard of living and the choice of components and indicators for the design of the survey, outlines research results of the 1968 and 1974 surveys relating to working conditions, occupational health, impact of work on leisure and political participation, etc., and draws conclusions for quality of working life policies.
