Abstract
Article on trends in collective bargaining and labour relations in the UK, 1970 to 1983 - discusses decreasing trade unionization, the role of employers organizations and wage councils and the increase in enterprise level collective agreements against a background of changes in political power and labour legislation, inflation, economic recession and unemployment.
