Abstract
Article on recent trends in collective bargaining in Japan - identifies the major trends as the shift of emphasis with regard to bargaining content, the spread of joint consultation machinery, the changing balance of power between the various forces involved in the bargaining process, and recent unity moves undertaken by the industrial trade union federations.
