Abstract
Article describing the relationship of trade unions to ' industrial communities', an economic system based on workers stock ownership, workers participation and profit sharing, in Peru - examines legal aspects of the industrial community system, describes the evolution of its relationship with the unions and concludes that the establishment of the communities has strengthened the unions.
