Abstract
Population statistical method (census) as a research method for the use of developing countries - study based on 1960 census of Ghana shows conditions for successful operations such as mass media, public campaigns, training of surveyors for preparation of questionnaires and of national level sample surveys, without forgetting geographical aspect.
