Abstract
Article on the problems of social planning and social policy at an enterprise level in Czechoslovakia - covers the content and financing of worker welfare prorammes comprising working conditions improvement, housing, nursery school construction, and leisure arrangements, etc., And discusses the effects of social welfare activities on production increase, quality of working life, labour turnover reduction (particularly in the motor vehicle industry), and future trends.
