Article on the obstacles to labour force participation of rural women in developing countries - covers landlessness, impact of land reform, cultural factors resulting in lack of decision making power regarding work or income, and lack of labour mobility; points to a need for community level projects with outside help to overcome illiteracy and act as catalysts for income generating activities, work at home, self reliance, etc.
