Article describing the functions of managers of enterprises and management problems in the motor vehicle industry in Czechoslovakia - considers labour demand, introduction of technological change (incl. Flexible manufacturing systems and industrial robots), economising of raw materials, energy conservation, environmental protection, etc.; discusses the wage payment system and labour relations.
