Article on food production for and food security to new industrial developing areas in cold zones in USSR (northern and eastern siberia) - considers food planning to meet food requirements in areas of harsh climate and unfavourable soil conditions, focusing on the use of subsidiary farms and other agricultural organizations located in more favourable growing zones.
