Abstract
Article constituting the sequel to an earlier review (Internat. Labour Rev. 113(1), 1976, 1-15) on trends in workers participation at enterprise level - focuses on collective bargaining, the revival of works councils, role of trade unions, effects on labour productivity and industrial peace, etc., and concludes that the various forms of participation will come to complement each other and shape a more coherent system. Conference held in The Hague 1981 May 5 to 13.
