Abstract
Examines the economic characteristics of the globalization process between 1985 and 2002 and explores the impact on employment and wages, poverty, inequality, insecurity, child labour, women workers and migration. Reviews national and international policy responses designed to make globalization more sustainable and equitable and to deliver decent jobs, security and a voice in decision-making.
