Abstract
ILO pub macroeconomic analysis (statistical analysis statistical method) to assess impact of automation on level of qualification. Positive correlation of labour productivity changes - indicative for technological change, and of rising skill level partially offset by unemployment. Concludes that promotion tendencies in occupational structure are due to shift in employment opportunities from low skill industries to high skill industries which are expanding as result of higher wages and changed consumption patterns.
