Abstract
Article on the impact of technological change on the employment and working conditions of performers - describes the provisions of the 1961 international convention for the protection of performers, producers of phonograms and braodcasting organisations and discusses action initiated for the adoption of a new international labour standard which would take into account more recent technological developments such as communications satellites.
