Abstract
Article commenting on provisions of the 4 jul 1979 labour legislation in relation to a new framework for labour relations in Spain - outlines the main principles relating to acceptance of conflict, pre-eminence of the collective autonomy, recognition of standard-setting powers of the state, etc., and focuses on freedom of association, labour contracts, workers representation and collective bargaining elements, etc., designed to strengthen the position of the social partners.
