Abstract
Study, partly historical, of interracial human relations and of the social structure in Brazil - a multiracial society in which people of different races and legal status get on with one another without difficulties. No legislation creates barriers or institutes any discrimination. Educational and cultural factors still remain which bar economic integration and higher social status for the lower class.
