Abstract
Article on labour force participation of woman workers in the manufacturing sector in Mauritius, based on a sample survey of the export processing zone - covers employees attitudes, motivation and job satisfaction (appreciation of income and social contacts, complaints of low wages, fatigue and long hours of work) and management attitudes (preference for women because of lower wages, less absenteeism and docility).
