Abstract
Compares the performance of 38 countries in respect of the UNDP's Human Development Index, the ILO's index of decent work and GDP per capita. Finds that countries without high incomes can nevertheless achieve lower levels of decent work deficit and that countries with high income do not automatically achieve lower levels of this deficit.
